This is one of my favorites!!! Enjoy!
2 lb. ground beef
one tube of hot pork sausage
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 can of tomato juice
1- 16 ounce box elbow macaroni
Fry ground beef and sausage in a fry pan until done - then drain. Add onion and green pepper -stir so meat doesn't get crispy. when veggies are tender you can stop.
At the same time cook your noodles. Pick the smallest time that your box tells you. (I don't use all of the noodles....85% probably) Drain and add everything together in a big pot.
Add meat/veggie mixture, noodles, tomato juice and seasonings. Stir & cover. Simmer on low.
Simmer for 10 minutes on medium to low to blend the flavors.
For leftovers get another tomato juice to add to it!!
