Super Hero Food!!!!

Awhile back I was having a hard time getting my kids to eat good food. All they wanted was cookies, fruit snacks & chocolate milk. Addison would never try any vegetables & Lucas hated all meat. So - I came up with the best idea! Call healthy food - super hero food! My kids LOVE it!! Every time we eat they ask if it is super hero food and what it does to our body. Example - Carrots give us better vision... and cookies make us slow. I think they are waiting for me to say it makes you invisible or can fly! :-)

A few nights ago I made spaghetti & meatballs. As we were eating Lucas asked if it was a super hero food. We told him yes, it had veggies in it & meat which makes you stronger. He then told us he was going to eat 100 meatballs and kill Owen. YIKES!! He did have about 3 meatballs and before he wouldn't even try them.

Junk Food...

Last night I took the kids to McDonald's (which I rarely do anymore... it's so expensive and GROSS). The kids loved their food and ate all of it. This morning when we woke up I told them I was sick from the McDonald's food. Lucas got very sad and told me that it's not super hero food so we shouldn't go there anymore. McDonald's is my kids favorite so I was shocked that Lucas said we shouldn't go there anymore!!
